This year, Prometheus is celebrating a big milestone – our 50th anniversary. This landmark gives us an opportunity to celebrate and also to recognize our Prometheans who have shaped our culture and made our organization what it is.
Through our program called POrCH (Promethean Outreach and Community Help), Prometheans (Prometheus employees) and Neighbors (residents) participate in volunteer opportunities year-round. And this Thanksgiving, we’re giving thanks through service activities up and down the West Coast. Here’s a peek at what’s going on:
Prometheus’ Director of Ancillary Services and resident green expert Mary Nitschke likes to help our Neighbors save energy (and money!).
The change in weather can happen suddenly, and some of us are left chilly in sundresses and shorts. It’s time to put summer away and swap out our warm weather clothes for sweaters and jackets. There’s just one little problem – where is that jacket you loved wearing? And what happened to your favorite jeans?
In the Fall, we can (sort of) objectively say the West Coast is the best coast – farmer’s markets don’t end with the last sunset of Summer. Recently we discovered just how many farmer’s markets don’t end when summer is over – which is great news to us.
