May is just around the corner and that means warmer temps are in store for our Neighbors in Portland. And what better way to enjoy the sunshine than with some outdoor festivals!

Walking Dead Coming to Portland?
Zombie enthusiasts won’t want to miss the premiere screening of “Flesh of My Flesh,” Portland’s own homegrown epic zombie adventure, which chronicles the last hours of The Great Zombie War through the eyes of the hapless people stuck in the middle.

Neighborhood Art Walks
Portland has a rich and thriving art scene, so it’s no wonder the city hosts several wildly popular evening art walks in different neighborhoods throughout the month, making it easy to pick one that works with your schedule. A perfect date night filled with art, wine, happy hour specials, music, and more!

Marathon of Laughs
In its eighth year, the Bridgetown Comedy Festival is repeating history by nailing a comedy lineup that’s sure to have you crying from laughter. The four-day event includes acts by Janeane Garofalo, Jonathan Katz, Dana Gould, Andy Kindler, and Brendon Small, and a ton of other awesome comedians.

Drink Whiskey and Change the World
What’s better than having more than 200 whiskeys, 5 stages featuring 25 bands, and tastings from 9 restaurants? Helping some great nonprofits and organizations!
Back for its third year in Portland, this two-day event promises good times (mechanical bull, anyone?) and even better company, all to benefit Be the Match Foundation, The Luna Foundation, and the Achon Uganda Children's Fund.

A Rose By Any Other Name…
Portland’s waterfront comes alive during the Rose Festival City Fair, open for three full weekends (starting Memorial Day weekend). Festival-goers will enjoy exciting rides, live music, local beer and cuisine, exotic animal displays, shopping, fireworks, and more!
